Fillings

A cavity does not heal on its own, and treating it early is the difference between a simple filling and a root canal later. We use tooth-coloured composite that is bonded and set in place, so the repair is not visible when you smile or laugh.

Most fillings are completed in a single visit. If the decay is close to the nerve we will tell you before starting, and explain what the options are rather than pressing on and hoping.

Old metal fillings can also be replaced with composite if you would prefer them not to show.
