Rebuilding and replacing teeth
Crowns And Bridges
A crown is a cap that covers a tooth completely. It is what protects a tooth after a root canal, and it rebuilds one that is too broken or worn for a filling to hold. A bridge fills a gap where a tooth is already gone, by anchoring the replacement to the teeth on either side.
Both are made to your bite and shade. Options range from metal-ceramic to full ceramic and zirconia, which differ in strength, appearance and cost — we will explain the trade-off for your particular tooth rather than quoting one option.
Leaving a gap unfilled is not neutral: the teeth beside it drift and the bite changes, which is harder to correct later.
